FAITH UNDERSTOOD (14) was never in contention when 7 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1m1f at Santa Anita last start, a less impressive effort than her when resuming seventh at Del Mar the run before. Must raise the bar but she has the ability to test this field. BIRDIE ROSE (11) was prominent at the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1m1/2f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she cannot be overlooked. TAKE SHAPE (4) returns after a lay-off of five months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1m2 1/2f at Kentucky. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with three minor placings from five tries. Sure to make her presence felt. MONTEGO BAY (9) got the prize two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 6½f at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
