CROSSTOWN SHOOTOUT (3) has switched yards since scoring by 0.3 lengths at this track over 6½f on December 11. Sure to take beating. SPIRIT ANIMAL (2) is an imported nine-year-old having his first run in this area for the Jesus Esquivel stable. Back from a break after finishing eighth over 7f at Woodbine at his last appearance five-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but he is expected to be in the finish. MAJOR WAGER (1) had been in sparkling form winning two races on end but missed the frame most recently when seventh over 6f at this track (Synthetic). Can return to his best. ALL IN SYNC (5) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 3 lengths into fourth over 6f at this track. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
