SUNNY MAGIC (12) raced on the speed last time but couldn't finish the race off and clocked-in sixth over 1m at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Likely to be in the finish in this suitable assignment. XAVI (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the turn. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. MEMPHIS SLIM (9) is on debut. By Mendelssohn and hails from the W A Ward stable. Respect any positive move in betting. REAL CONVICTION (6) has been in the betting recently but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished seventh over 6½f at Churchill Downs (Dirt), beaten 11 lengths. Worth considering.
