BUFFALO STORM CODY (1) turned in a fine effort to win by one length at this track and distance when resuming from a layoff last time out. Worth noting Gavin Lerena goes aboard. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. WILLIAM ROBERTSON (2) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on 2/08/2025, finishing fifth and beaten 5. 5 lengths over 5f at this track. Should be hard to stop. GREATERIX (3) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5¾f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into seventh after being in contention on the corner. Going up a level this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. CHYAVANA (5) was beaten 4. 5 lengths into eighth in a 5f contest at Vaal at his latest appearance. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
