MAJOR ARCANA (2) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 0. 8 lengths, over 6f at Vaal on debut. Should be winding up late again. WITCH HAZEL (12) will find this a little easier than his third on debut a month ago, beaten 4. 5 lengths at the end of 6f at Vaal. Promising type with improvement to come so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. TINTIN (3) has not raced since his debut back on April 17 when he finished fourth over 6f at Vaal. Should be thereabouts. SPLITTHEEIGHTS (10) is a well-related three-year-old colt lining up for the first time. By Vercingetorix from Massachusetts who has produced some fine gallopers, including a winner at G1 level. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters.
