SPUMANTE DOLCE (10) was an effortless winner on debut over 7f at Vaal, scoring by 2 lengths. Will appreciate the drop in the weights. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Expecting a bold showing. SAFE SPACE (6) returns from a break of nine weeks. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a win over 1m at Turffontein Inside. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. KUDZU (1) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m at Vaal, beaten 0.8 lengths. Gavin Lerena gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. KING OF NUMBERS (7) improved sharply last time out to score by 2.75 lengths over 7f at this track three weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
