GLAMOROUS LADY (3) is yet to break through but has been in the money four times including last start when second over 1m1/2f at Vaal. Has been in the frame at all two runs over this trip. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Expecting a bold showing. TUSCAN STAR (9) resumes from a lay-off of 12 weeks and looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1m at Scottsville. Expect she has come on over the break. Good chance to open this campaign on a winning note. ONO NO KOMACHI (7) finished third last time over 7¼f at Turffontein Inside when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 5 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. POPLAR PARK (8) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished seventh over 6f at Turffontein Inside, beaten 14 lengths. Deserves another chance.
