ONE PARTY (1) was fresh from a break of three months last start when beaten 1.4 lengths into second over 5f at this track. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. The one to beat. AFTER HOURS (6) finished 4.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 6f at Vaal five-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Has a high cruising speed. Leading contender. CAPTAIN JIM (2) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 20 lengths away in 14th over 7f at Vaal. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. CAN'T CATCH ME (10) ran well despite being friendless in betting last time over 7f at Vaal, finishing second and beaten 1.5 lengths at 33/1. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Sure to be thereabouts.
