TOWERS OF GOLD (8) scored an overdue maiden win last time out, getting home by 1.75 lengths over 7½f at Turffontein Inside. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he can go on with it. NEW MEXICO (2) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't feature last start when 4.5 lengths away in ninth over 7f at Scottsville. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. HIGH QUEUE (4) lines up for the hat-trick after registering a strong win last time over 1m1f at Vaal, scoring by a nose. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Sure to be competitive. HAZLO GRANDE (1) scored two runs back then was well supported last time but could only manage to finish sixth over 1m1f at Turffontein Inside. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
