Can break through in this suitable contest. YOJIMBO (9) resumes from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 1m1/2f at Vaal. Has ability and is a solid chance. CLIFFIE CLAVIN (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when fourth over 1m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SPLASHLANDING (7) is a three-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 9 lengths when fifth over 1m1f at Vaal. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat.
