THUNEE PLAYA (7) proved too strong two runs ago at Vaal. Less impressive last time out when sixth over 1m2f at Vaal, beaten 3.5 lengths. Finds a more suitable contest and can rediscover winning form. IMPERIAL MASTER (3) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a second over 1m2f at Vaal. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. TAMARISK TREE (4) has been in the placings his past two starts, finishing second over 1m2f at Vaal last time out. Should be prominent from the outset. Sure to be competitive. APACHE SON (6) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when sixth over 1m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Worth another chance.
