PLATINA PRINCESS (1) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was beaten 9 lengths into 11th over 6f at this track. Has a solid second up record. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. MAX THE MAGICIAN (5) was well in commission last start over 1m at this track when third, beaten 2 lengths. Great chance to atone. BRAVE VIKING (7) finished third last time over 7f at Turffontein Standside when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.75 lengths. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. BOB'S YOUR UNCLE (8) registered a strong win two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when second over 7f at Turffontein Standside, beaten one length. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
