WHAT A LUCY (10) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a head away in second over 5f at this track. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. GOLDEN ASPEN (7) got the prize two runs ago at Vaal. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 7¼f at Turffontein Inside, beaten 7 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. ON CUE (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths into fifth. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. WINGS WITHIN ME (3) ran below expectations last time at Vaal over 6f, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths. Has a win and four minor placings at this journey from seven starts and is one of the better hopes.
