CHYAVANA (1) continued the good recent form when he finished just a long neck away in third last time out over 5¾f at this track. Gavin Lerena who has two wins when partnering stays on. Will strip fitter so expect him to feature. RAINBOW REWARD (5) started at 8/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 3.5 lengths at this track over 5¾f. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Has the ability to take this out. Group 3 winner KARANGETANG (2) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. SUPER AWESOME (7) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5¾f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into eighth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
