KOMATI RIVER (9) is a two-start maiden who was unplaced on debut then improved to finish second last time over 6f at Vaal, beaten 5 lengths. Has good early speed. Can get off the mark this time. CAT O'CLOCK (3) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 6f at Vaal. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ZANTHAR (8) is a four-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at this track over 7f, beaten 4 lengths. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will be in this for a long way. DYLAN'S CHAMP (5) was safely held on debut last start, finishing 10 lengths behind the winner in sixth over 7f at this track. Open to plenty of improvement. Don't underestimate.
