TO THE RESCUE (1) ran below expectations last time at Turffontein Standside, finishing fifth and beaten 3 lengths starting at 8/1. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he can find the winners' list. FUTUREWOLFF (2) was comfortably accounted for when third last start over 1m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. HOLOCENE (7) wasn't far away last time out, finishing third over 7¼f at Vaal. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. One of the main contenders. COPPER JOHN (6) raced below his best last time when seventh over 1m1f at Vaal, beaten 3 lengths. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
