PRESLEY (3) started at 5/2 last time but could only manage eighth, beaten 4 lengths, at this track over 1m1f. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Best form puts him right in this. MK'S DREAMS (7) ran well despite being friendless in betting last time over 1m at Turffontein Inside, finishing third and beaten 1.5 lengths at 20/1. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Sure to be in the finish. ROYAL EDITION (8) defied his big price last time when beaten just 0.6 lengths into third over 7½f at Turffontein Inside. Should be involved in the finish again. AMERICAN STAR (5) is fresh from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months and did hit the frame when last resuming at this track over 1m. In a different yard now.
