VAN MEIJEL (3) broke through for his maiden win over 5¾f at this track last time. Shaping up nicely and he is likely to feature in the finish again. GOLDEN ASPEN (4) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7f at Greyville All Weather, beaten 2.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. LIL MISS MONEYBAGS (1) has been thereabouts, the latest finishing fourth over 6f at Vaal but overdue for another win. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. One of the main contenders. RED CARPET GIRL (8) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 5f at Turffontein Inside after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a nice race and can play a big role again.
