DON JUAN BUBBA (4) could only manage fifth on dirt over 5½f at this track in a then couldn't find the top-three on turf over 7½f at this track more recently. Terrific chance to return to form back on the dirt. PAT'S PADDOCK PICK (6) travelled in a rearwards position and didn't fire over 5f at this track (Dirt) last time out when in the market. That followed a good second the run prior. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. PASSION OF JOE'S (9) returns from a layoff of 11 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at Canterbury Park. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Has to be respected. A LOT OF VERVE (3) scored a 1.75 lengths win on dirt at this track two starts back but then disappointed on turf last time at this track over 1m when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh. Suited here. Sure to give a great sight.
