DEFENSE WINS (5) last appeared three-and-a-half weeks ago over 5½f at Pleasanton when he finished fourth. This is his first run for the Horne Debbie Van stable. Worth serious consideration. STRENGTH OF AUTISM (6) tackled a better race last start and finished sixth at this track (Dirt) over 6f, beaten 3.5 lengths. That effort followed a win at this track (Dirt) two starts back. Better placed this time and can do much better. MINISTER OF SOUL (3) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when ninth and beaten 12 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt). Well placed and should be thereabouts.
