LIE AND DENY (5) ran below expectations last time at this track (Dirt) over 5½f, finishing seventh and beaten 7 lengths. Blinkers added so the stable might have him peaking. ULTIMATE (1) hasn't raced since finishing tenth over 5½f at Del Mar (Dirt) on September 6 and has since switched trainers. Goes well when resuming from a lay-off, including three minor placings from five starts. One of the primary contenders. SHINING TIGER (2) was a most impressive winner last time over 1m1/2f at Listed level at Lethbridge, scoring by 6 lengths. Capable of testing this field. READY TO STORM (3) finished third last time over 5½f at this track (Dirt), beaten 5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
