CONRAD THE RED (5) got well back over 1m at this track (Turf) last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 9 lengths away in ninth. Nicely placed to take this out. GENERAL CROOK (7) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 17 lengths, over 1m1/2f at Listed level at this track (Dirt). Will strip fitter and is ready to show what he can do. COASTAL FOG (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on March 26 when beaten 6 lengths into sixth at this track (Dirt) over 6f after being in the firing line on the turn. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is a major player. SOUTH COAST ROUTE (3) was in the money two starts back at this track but couldn't back it up last time when eighth, beaten 8 lengths, at this track (Dirt) over 5½f. Has his share of ability and can do a lot better.
