TIGER HUNTER (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2 lengths over 1m at this track (Dirt) after being in contention on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. HEARTBREAK KID (6) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m at this track, beaten 24 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Tackling a more suitable race so he is a major player. START THEM UP (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Sunland Park, beaten 12 lengths into fifth. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. PHILBIN ROAD (7) ran well below his best last time over 1m at this track (Dirt), beaten 8 lengths into fourth at 4/5. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One of the better hopes.
