LITE RANCHIN KID (2) resumed last time out and finished fourth over 1m at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Perfectly placed to score. FRENCH ONION (5) returns from a lay-off of eight months and is having his first run for a new yard. Was a winner when fresh last campaign at Los Alamitos (Dirt) over 5f. Will be tuned-up for this and is expected to run well. SUDDENLY FAMOUS (1) is back at the races for the first time since October 22. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at Century Mile. Definite top-three chance. Better than recent efforts suggest.
