Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. J C'S A LEGEND (5) finds it hard to win with just one success from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6f at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. When resuming over 5½f at this track (dirt), beaten 6 lengths. One of the main contenders. O'BANION (1) produced a reasonable effort when fourth last start over 6f at Golden Gate Fields. That followed a win at Golden Gate Fields the start prior. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
