OUTCASTER (10) finished out of the money two starts back then she settled well back and was beaten 10 lengths when sixth in a 1m contest at Pakenham two weeks ago. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. WELL CRAFTED (11) missed the placings two runs back then got a long way back last start when 9 lengths away in tenth over 1m1 1/2f at Kyneton. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. KALENDS (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only half a length over 1m1 1/4f at Avoca after being prominent at the corner. Must raise the bar but she has the ability to test this field. STAY A WHILE (12) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m1 3/4f at Yarra Valley, beaten just 1.3 lengths. Has her share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
