CROOKED TANNIE (1) showed plenty of ability at Leopardstown when third in a 2m maiden hurdle. Progressive this season and rates a leading chance. PIRATE ISLAND (6) went well at Cork finishing a fair fourth tackling a 3m maiden hurdle. Rates highly. PRINCE PALACE (7) holds claims on best efforts including a Fairyhouse third over 3m three runs ago. Looks one to note. ROXHILL ROISE (10) placed second at Thurles two outings back. Interesting.
