CONVERTOR (8) raced on the speed and lifted to score by one length at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. PREPOTENT (4) was in contention on the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1m at Rockhampton after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Nicely placed to take this out. SAND 'N' POWER (7) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 7½f at Cairns, getting home by 3 lengths. Winning rider Michael McDonald retains the mount. Likely to be in the finish again. BLAZERRO (3) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1m1f at Bowen after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
