ALMIGHTY JAB (5) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 4¾f at Cairns last start, scoring by 2.25 lengths. No reason he cannot get the job done again. CANNY BE BETTER (1) showed good early speed from the inside draw when resuming last start before finishing third over 5½f at Mackay. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. NOBLE ATTACK (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 6¼f at Cairns after being in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. ELLIE'S DREAM (6) wasn't far away in his two starts prior to sub-par fifth last time out over 6¼f at Cairns. Sure to do much better.
