SMALL TOWN HUSSLER (2) showed good early speed when resuming last start before boxing on well and finishing third, beaten 0.9 lengths, over this trip at this track. Placed to advantage and can take this out. GYMNOSOMATA (6) resumes from a lay-off of 11 weeks and looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 5½f at Mackay. Will strip fitter following a recent trial win. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
