WICKLOW LASS (6) turned in a fine effort to score by 2.25 lengths at this track and distance last start in a much improved run. Finds another suitable race and can maintain winning form. BOOMING LAD (4) returns from a lay-off of five months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished ninth at Doomben over 5½f when when resuming last time in work. Has found the right race and can take this out. KING RUPERT (7) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when tenth over 4¾f at Cairns. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. YAMABUSHI (5) settled well back before making steady ground in the straight last start to finish fifth, beaten 3 lengths, over this journey at this track. Can feature in the finish.
