VALENKI (2) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 6½f at this track. Record at this journey is sound with three wins from seven runs. Another bold showing is expected. TALONS (7) showed good early speed last start before boxing on well and finishing third, beaten 4.5 lengths, over this trip at Cairns.
