TALONS (3) turned in a good performance last time over 6f at this track, finishing one length from the winner in third. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Perfectly placed to salute. READY TO PARDON (8) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.6 lengths from the winner in second over 7f at this track after being in contention on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SPECIALTIE (9) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 4.5 lengths back in eighth over 7f at this track. Solid top-three claims. VALENKI (4) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 0.9 lengths over 7½f at Innisfail. Nicely placed to keep the ball rolling.
