MEMPHIS SHADOW (6) finished fourth two runs back at Cairns then improved last time out to score by 2 lengths as public elect over 6f at Bowen. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. JOHN JOSEPH (5) missed the frame when resuming last start over 5f at this track but wasn't all that far from the winner. Backmarker who gets home hard. Best form puts him right in this. SPIRIT MEISTER (2) produced a reasonable effort when third last start over 6f at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. That followed a win at Cairns the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. SUPER FAST (9) was in the placings when 2.8 lengths away from the winner last time at Mackay and gets some weight relief here. Rates well so don't underestimate.
