CONSTANT FLIGHT (7) lines up on the back of a 1.2 lengths sixth over 6½f at Rockhampton. Has a good record at this journey with two wins from 12 starts. Expecting a bold showing. BONAPARTE (1) ran well despite being friendless in betting when resuming last time over 6½f at Rockhampton, finishing third and beaten a neck at 20/1. Record at this journey is impressive with two wins and three placings from six runs and is sure to play a big role. FOR VALOUR (17) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was prominent at the bend before being beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth over 6f at Eagle Farm. Goes up a rung or two but he is fitter and worth serious consideration. Group 3 winner MR MAESTRO (4) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Stephen Massingham stable. Hasn't raced since finishing 16th at Flemington 11 weeks ago. Ran fourth in a trial at Sunshine Coast Inner Track over 5f and looks well placed. Has to be respected.
