AOLANI (3) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Tom Button stable. Hasn't raced since finishing fifth at Hamilton 12 weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Should prove tough to beat. MORE THAN A HERO (1) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 0.8 lengths away in second over 4f at Thangool when he was prominent throughout. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. MAMA'S MAN (5) is back after a break of five months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fifth over 5f at this track. Nicely placed and can get off the mark. ICE BOUND (4) is a three-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Troy Clive barn. Hasn't raced since finishing tenth at Kempsey 11 weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks well placed. Can run a bold race.
