EZEKEIL (7) is closing in on a win, last time out finishing second over 6f at Ipswich when just a neck from the winner. Has a good gate and gets his chance to break through. BRERETON (3) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 1.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6f at Eagle Farm. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MASTER SHOWMAN (5) was comfortably accounted for when tenth last start over 6f at Doomben, beaten 13 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at Doomben. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. OUR MAGNUS (11) is racing well without winning.
