CAPE CRUSADER (1) wasn't far away when resuming last start, finishing second over 6½f at Gold Coast. Yet to miss the frame over this longer journey. Will pay to follow up. GOT YOURSELF A GUN (2) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when ninth over 6½f at this track after he settled well back. Should be peaking now and is sure to be about the mark. EARL OF DEVON (3) showed good pace and went on to score by 5 lengths last time out over 1m at this track. Has to overcome a tricky draw. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. FARWEST (4) was given time to settle from an outside draw when resuming last time then wound up strongly in the straight for an eye-catching second over 6½f at this track. Will be doing his best work late.
