PARTY SPIRIT (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 5.5 lengths away in ninth over 5½f at Doomben. Has the talent to take care of this field. GROOVIN' THE MOO (1) was a winner over 5¼f at this track last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by one length. Form at this distance is strong with four wins from five starts and has to be respected. SMILING ZAC (4) saluted two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when third over 5¼f at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
