COLONEL PARKER (6) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing second and beaten 4 lengths over 4f76yards at this track. Big chance based on that effort. HE GOES BOOM (2) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished ninth over 6¾f at Ipswich. Tuned up with a fourth in a recent trial at Deagon. Rates highly and is a strong chance to break through. ORIENTE (8) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 5f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. DUN WITH ROSES (1) returns after three-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 5f at this track. Tuned up with a fourth in a recent trial at Toowoomba Inner Track. Can kick off with a bold showing.
