CONNEWARRE (3) came from well back on the bend and hit the line strongly to score over 6¾f at Warwick last time out. Will be tough to hold out again. AVOID THE MISSTRES (9) finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in the firing line on the turn over 1m3f at Bowraville, an improvement on her 11th at Gold Coast Poly the run before. Going up a level this time but she is up to the challenge. ROMAN DAGGER (1) started at 3/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 2.25 lengths at this track over 1m. Nicely placed to make amends. NERANO (2) did well to score two runs ago then turned in a decent effort last time out when second over 1m at this track, beaten half a length. Should be thereabouts.
