BEAU WITNESS (3) scored in a at this track but was below his best last time when ninth over 5¼f at Doomben. Has raced two times at this course and distance and is yet to be beaten. Has the ability to take care of this field. MAHBABY (1) returns to her home track after a fair run in town last time when fifth at Doomben. Will find this easier. Sure to go well. KING OF THE JUNGLE (8) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Sunshine Coast with success over 5f at this track three weeks ago, getting home by 2 lengths after being prominent at the corner. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to cope. END ASSEMBLY (2) Group 3 placegetter. Last appeared when sixth over 7f at Sandown-Hillside four months ago. Now under the care of new trainer Mark Currie. Among the better hopes.
