NEW JOY (6) showed good early pace last time and battled on gamely to finish just a head from the winner in second over 6½f at this track. Drawn out but can cross. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. BLUE CHIP GIRL (4) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when in the firing line on the bend before winding up in third over 6½f at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. SOCIAL STAR (7) was far from disgraced when second last start over 1m at Gatton. That followed a win at Kilcoy the start prior. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
