KUBWA (15) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on February 4 finishing seventh and beaten 12 lengths over 1m at Sunshine Coast. Should be hard to stop. PERFECT ENCOUNTER (3) showed good early speed last start before boxing on well and finishing second, beaten a head, over this trip at this track. Ready to go one better. DEFERENTIAL (10) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by a neck over 6f at this track as favourite. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins and two minor placings from four outings. Can feature again. VONZITHER (13) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last start over 6f at Beaudesert, beaten one length. Nicely placed to take this out.
