ALTER THE STARS (2) scored her maiden win here last time out over this trip, getting the decision by 4.5 lengths. Looks well placed and she is a leading contender. SPARKLY (1) is back from a lay-off of three months. Scored a good win at her final run last campaign at this track (Dirt) over 5½f. One of the genuine hopes in the race. MISS EASY (4) is racing well and has registered six minor placings in a row, last time out finishing second over 6½f at Belterra Park (Dirt). Sits handy in the run. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to figure in the finish. NOT TODAY (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 20 lengths away in sixth over 1m at this track. Nicely placed to find some form.
