EMPIRE'S FIRE (2) showed good pace over 5½f at this track (Dirt) last time and went on to score by 1.5 lengths. Will take advantage of the good draw. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. STARTDFROMDABOTTOM (10) is going well with two minor placings from three starts this campaign. Produced another good effort last time out when second over 5f at Belterra Park (Turf) after he was always up in the leading division. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. DIAMOND DUST (7) showed good early speed last start before boxing on well and finishing third, beaten 7 lengths, over this trip at Presque Isle Downs (Synthetic). Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. SPECIALIZED (6) scored last start at this track (Dirt) to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Form here at this trip reads three wins from four starts. Has to be respected.
