ICE SYMPHONY (12) is coming off a determined win last start over 5½f at Stawell two weeks ago. Nice weight drop so another bold showing is expected. BEOUR BAY (9) finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in seventh when resuming last time out at Flemington over 5½f. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring two times from three starts. This is far easier. Should be in the finish. KEITEL (10) is a three-time winner who has been racing in great heart, beaten 0.8 lengths into fourth last time out over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. Has a strong record at this journey and should be thereabouts. CALICO JACK (13) is returning from a lay-off of five months. Finished fourth at Caulfield over 6f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Tom Dabernig. Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Donald trial.
