TRUTH I FEAR (10) was in contention on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1m at Warracknabeal after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Looks well placed so expect another big run. LA PLAGE (12) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 3.5 lengths into third over 1m at Pakenham Synthetic. Well placed and a great chance to break through. ROOK SING (5) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m2 3/4f at Terang, beaten 4 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. SENGOKI (7) turned in a much better run at his second appearance last time out when 2.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1m at Wangaratta. Open to further improvement.
