VOLARE (8) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was prominent at the corner before being beaten 4 lengths into fourth over 5f at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. SPOILER (7) hit the frame two starts ago at Port Macquarie but ran below par last time when 11th and beaten 10 lengths over 5f at Grafton. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
