GOLDEN SMILE (10) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 7f at Newcastle when she worked home well. This is an easier race so she is one of the primary contenders. JASON DARREN (7) went forward last start over 7f at Kembla Grange and held on well for second, beaten a head. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. CUP OF AMBITION (9) is on the quick back up after sitting on the pace and boxing on well to finish third at this track eight days ago. Good effort last start and should figure prominently. TWENTY FOUR GUNS (6) finished second last time over 1m at Dubbo, beaten a head. Will trim down following recent racing. Suitably placed so anticipating another forward showing.
